Cyndy Morin practices exclusively in the area of family law. Prior to her legal career, Cyndy was an experienced counselor and has worked with families and youth in numerous capacities.
Cyndy is an active member with the Canadian Bar Association Family Law section, she is a practicing mediator with the Alberta Family Mediation Society, and she is also a registered Collaborative Law Lawyer.
Cyndy sits on the Alberta Law Day Committee, the Volunteer Lawyers Service Advisory Committee, and she is acting president for a newly established organization called “Just Air” which is a probono initiative currently being developed with the assistance of the Law Society of Alberta, to have “flying lawyers” provide probono legal clinics to remote and marginalized communities throughout the Province. Cyndy is also an active member of the Flying Lawyers Association and the “99’s” which is an international organization of women pilots.
Cyndy’s goal is to assist clients as they face challenges and changes in their family dynamic by offering them a range of resolution methods that best suit their individual needs. Cyndy recognizes the benefits of empowering individuals to make their own choices about their family through mediation and/or collaborative law methods, but also recognizes when court outcomes can be utilized in order to achieve an effective result, if necessary.
