Ms. Scheible’s practice encompasses all aspects of family law. While she finds herself quite at home in the courtroom, Ms. Scheible is open to all methods of resolving family law disputes.
Ms. Scheible is active in the legal community. She is a member of the Calgary Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association (CBA). She has been a member of CBA Family Section executive for 6 years. Ms. Scheible is the Chair for the CBA Southern Alberta Family Section for the 2012-2013 year. She has served as a member of the CBA National Equity Committee and is a national voting member of the Governing Council of the CBA Alberta Branch. Ms. Scheible is the CBA Alberta Branch Provincial Law Day Co-Chair. She has been a member of the Calgary Law Day Committee since 2002 and has co-chaired this committee 5 times, most recently for Law Day 2013. She has also served as a member of the CBA membership committee.
Ms. Scheible acts in the capacity of both a director and legal advisor for the Future Group. This international charity focuses its efforts on eradicating child trafficking, and has done work in Cambodia, Romania and Cameroon. She has also volunteered at the Women’s Centre legal advice clinic and regularly assists in fundraising for countless charities, especially those that champion animal welfare.
Ms. Scheible’s goal with every client is to minimize the emotional and financial costs while at the same time achieving the best possible outcome.
